5 year old loves them

I’m surprised to see so many bad reviews. My 5 year old got both for Christmas, and after a few months with a lot of play, both are still fully functional. Even her 8 year old brother gets in on it.

Gift is great! The sellers? Not so much.

The gift is great! The sellers? Not so much. When I put this in my cart and purchased it at the end of November, it was marked at 39.99. I placed my order, in which the payment never processed.

They love it!

My 4yo niece saw this at kohl's and immediately fell in love. It was $50! A price I would never pay for a toy not considered educational so I checked the shop and was relieved to find it on sell for $20!

Ok, so we bought this for our daughter and she loves it., i’m not sure why but i’m not a 6 year old... Anyways, after she got it for Christmas from Santa it stopped working shortly after she played with it.

About Moodwings Baby Dragon

Does Moodwings Baby Dragon need batteries?

Yes — every pet in this line that moves or makes sounds runs on them. The listing page states the size and the count.

Can Moodwings Baby Dragon be washed?

Surface only: damp cloth, mild soap, dry before brushing. The motor and the sound box sit inside the body.

How is Moodwings Baby Dragon different from the rest of the Interactive Pets shelf?

The pets with the longest memory for a good scratch. Within the shelf the pets differ by size and by the trick they do; the shelf page sets them side by side.

furReal interactive pets, in plain words

A furReal pet is a plush animal with motions, sounds and reactions built into it. Some of them walk: a furReal Walk-a-Lots pup trots on its leash, wags its tail and barks as it walks around the room. Some of them feed — hold out the bowl and the kitty asks for more. Some are small enough to fall asleep in a coat pocket, which is what the Handfuls and My Minis shelves are for.

What parents ask first

Three things, always. Is it gentle. Is it still fun after the first week. Is it a fair step toward real responsibility. Our answer is yes, yes and yes, in that order — a child who learns to brush a plush dog, put it to sleep and watch for the mode it enters is a child getting ready for an animal that breathes.

The animals living here

Dogs lead the house: the Bernedoodle, the Schnauzer, the French Bulldog, the Poop-a-Lots pug. Behind them come cats, a monkey, a tiger that roars, a silly hippo, a panda turning head over tail. Touch the head of any featured pet and something happens — rocking, barking, being snuggled. Nobody leaves this house without a friend, and nobody joins it without a birthday coming up.

Care, in one line

Brush the plush, keep it dry, take the batteries out when the pet goes to sleep for the season. Kids love these animals hardest in the first month, and the care habit is what carries them past it — worth teaching while the play is still new. That is the whole toy, and the fun of it.
